This 13 days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife tour involves recreational boat cruises at River Nile in Murchison Falls National Park. Kazinga channel with impressive views of Nile crocodiles and hippos, wild game viewing in Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Lake Mburo. You will see animals like elephants, buffaloes, tree-climbing lions, impalas, zebras, giraffes, leopards, and many others. Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will also explore Jinja – the source of the Nile as well as the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Pickup
You will arrive at Entebbe International Airport and our professional guide driver will pick you up. He or she will brief you about the 13 days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife tour. You will head to your accommodation. Have dinner and spend the night over.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park en route Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After a delicious morning breakfast, check out and meet your guide driver. You will then be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park.
On your way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola district to see Rhinos. After you continue with your journey to the park, you will also have your lunch on the way to one of the hotels in Masindi. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge, relax, and spend the night over.

Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River to see the top of the falls
On your third day, you will have a morning game drive to see animals like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and many others. You will get some relaxation and later do an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River. The boat will take you to the bottom of the falls while enjoying exceptional views of the aquatic species such as the Nile crocodile and hippos. Later on, you will hike to the top of Murchison Falls. Here you will take a picture of your life that will always remind you of the 13 days Uganda gorilla trekking and Wildlife safari.
Meet your driver guide and head to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Hoima. Visit Kibiro salt garden en route
After your breakfast, check out of the lodge, and the driver will drive you to Hoima and visit Kibiro salt gardens and see the mining area for ash salt. You will walk down the Rift Valley escarpment to Kibiro Salt Gardens. This is an exceptional adventure, you will have lunch en route and interact with the local members of the community.
Drive to your lodge, have dinner, and spend the night over.

Day 5: Fort Portal and visit the Amabere Ga’Nyinamwiru caves and Fort Portal Crater lake area and King’s Palace
On this day morning, you will be taken to Fort Portal and visit Amabere Ga’Nyinamwiru and Fort Portal Crater Lake. You will have your lunch in one of the hotels in Fort Portal and then visit Amabere caves. You will also visit the Fort Portal Crater Lake region and enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding area. Visit the King’s palace for an insight into the Ugandan culture. You will enjoy the views of the overlooking Rwenzori Mountains.
Go to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Semuliki. Visit Sempaya Hot Springs and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning after breakfast, your guide driver will drive you to Semuliki and visit Sempaya hot springs. After visiting the springs, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park is located in the western part of Uganda. You will drive along the rolling hills and the savannah plains of the western part of Uganda. Have lunch en route.

Day 7: Do a morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise along the Paradise of hippos-45km along Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector to see antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, warthogs, and other multiple species of the park.
After the game drive, you will relax at your lodge. You may spend time in a swimming pool at the lodge or read a magazine. After lunch, have an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and others. This is also an opportunity to interact with the locals while they do fishing at the channel.
You will go back to your accommodation area for refreshment and sleepover.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Do a game drive in the Ishasha sector.
You will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast en route to the Ishasha sector. The sector is famous for being home to the rare tree-climbing lions. Drive the rolling hills of Kigezi region as you head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This is one of the prime destinations that travelers love on the 13 days Uganda gorilla trekking and wildlife tour. A gorilla trekking experience awaits! Have lunch en route and have an optional plantation tour.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After a morning breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters for gorilla trekking. You will be briefed and grouped for respective gorilla families. You will then embark on the gorilla trekking activity. This is an exceptional experience on your 13 days Uganda gorilla trekking and wildlife safari. The trekking takes 2 to 8 hours inclusive of the 1 hour you spend with the gorillas.
Return to your lodge for lunch.
Afterward, check out of the lodge and drive to Uganda’s deepest lake – Lake Bunyonyi. The lake is famous for being a prime destination for bird lovers.
Upon arrival, continue to the lake for an evening experience, you may embark on a community tour or even do a boat cruise depending on time.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and do an evening game drive
After a morning game drive, check out of the lodge and head back to Lake Bunyonyi for one more last experience. Continue and drive to Lake Mburo National Park. This is Uganda’s smallest National Park.
You will have a stopover at a Hotel in Mbarara for a lip-smirking lunch. You will then continue to the park for an evening game drive. Enter via the Sanga gate and enjoy scenic views of the hills. You will also see zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and gazelles, to mention but a few.

Day 11: Morning game walking safari and transfer to Kampala
In the morning after your breakfast, you will have a morning walk along Lake Mburo to see animals like zebras in the grasslands. Lake Mburo is also a prime birding destination that you should look up to during your 13 days Uganda gorilla trekking and wildlife tour. You will be transferred back to Kampala after the game walk. You will have a lunch stopover and an experience at the Uganda Equator. You will spend a night at your earlier booked lodge in Kampala.

Day 12: Travel to Jinja and view the source of the Nile
You will travel to Jinja after breakfast to see the source of the Nile and also have fun in Jinja city. Quite a number of activities take place at the source of the Nile. These include; white water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, zip lining, and quad biking.
You will have your lunch in one of the hotels in Jinja. Later travel back to Kampala to your accommodation area for supper, refreshment, and sleepover.

Day 13: Visit Entebbe Wildlife Center and departure in the evening
After a break at your lodge, you will visit Entebbe Wildlife Education Center. You will see hyenas, zebras, Bengal tigers, shoebill stork, tortoises, pythons, and many others. Here, you will see almost all the wildlife species in Uganda. It is only here that you can see Bengal tigers.
You will have your lunch in one of the hotels in Entebbe town. Later in the evening, you will be departing to the Airport for your outbound flight. This marks the end of your 13 days Uganda gorilla trekking and wildlife tour.
