Day 1: Arrival and Kigali City Tour

On the 1^st day of your amazing 6 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari, you will meet our professional driver guide at the Airport upon arrival. Transfer to your hotel and check in.

After some rest, embark on a Kigali City Tour. Remember you are in one of the cleanest cities in Africa and the world at large. Visit landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, Inema Arts Center, Kimironko Market, and the Presidential Palace Museum.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park and evening boat cruise

The 2^nd day of your 6 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari starts with a lip-smirking breakfast at your accommodation. Check out from your hotel and depart for Akagera National Park. This is the home to the Big Five animals. The drive will take you through rolling hills and lush vegetation that your eyes can’t get tired of.

Arrive at the park and check in to your lodge. Enjoy a relaxing lunch at the lodge.

In the afternoon, go on an exciting boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

In the later hours of the day, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Akagera National Park.

Day 3: Morning Game drive and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

The 3^rd day of the 6 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari starts with breakfast at your accommodation. It is then followed by an amazing Morning game drive. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes and search for wildlife such as elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators like lions and leopards. On a special arrangement, you may have breakfast at a picnic spot within the park. This is the best for honeymooners and luxury travelers.

Return to your lodge for lunch, check out, and depart for Volcanoes National Park.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking adventure and Ibyi’wacu Cultural Village Tour

This is one of the best days on your 6 Days Rwanda gorilla trekking and Wildlife Safari. Gorilla trekking adventure awaits.

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules and regulations. Meet your experienced guide and set off on a thrilling trek through the forest to find a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing and photographing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest.

In the afternoon, visit the nearby Ibyi’wacu Cultural Village to learn about Rwandan traditions, dances, and local customs. You will spend time with the local members of the community, and immerse yourself in the culture of Rwandese. Grab an item from the local shops as a way of giving back to the community.

Day 5: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park and evening Canopy walk

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and depart for Nyungwe National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through stunning landscapes and rural villages. Have lunch en route.

Arrive at Nyungwe National Park and check in to your lodge.

In the evening, embark on an exhilarating Canopy Walk, where you can walk along suspension bridges high above the forest canopy.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in Nyungwe National Park.

Day 6: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Kigali – Departure

Today, you will have a memorable chimpanzee tracking experience. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Venture into the dense forest with your guide and track the chimpanzees as they swing through the trees and go about their daily activities. You will spend a magical hour observing these intelligent and playful primates.

After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and check out.
